In the world of Vincent Godeau, the houses are inflatable, the trees motorized and the beaches mashed potatoes. Illustrator and artist, he juggles with geometric and colored shapes made on the computer, hand drawing and constructions in wood or paper sometimes animated by small motors.
His graphic, playful and colorful universe takes various forms. Illustrator for the press (Télérama, XXI) and cultural communication (Pompidou center, Strasbourg bus), author of children’s books and digital applications, he also works in volume: creates pop-up books, sets for shows or large-format installations using his favorite material, paper.
Born in 1986 in Paris, Vincent Godeau studied graphic design at the Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg, where he currently lives.
